The CSSC encourages coaches to upgrade their skills on a continuing basis. In addition to Club sponsored OSA courses, opportunities may arise externally to which a CSSC coach may wish access to improve his/her skills. The Director of Training will subsidize coaches up to a maximum of $50 should they take such a course.
Criteria for such a subsidy will include, but not be limited to:
A. The coach must be the declared head coach of a CSSC recreational team or the declared head or assistant coach of a CSSC competitive team.
B. In the judgment of the Director of Training, the course must be appropriate to the skill level/experience of the applicant and be soccer specific.
C. The course must be given by a bona fide/recognized clinician or organization. Final judgment will be the domain of the Director of Training.
D. Subsidies will be paid upon presentation of a receipt and demonstration of the successful completion of the course.
E. Subsidies will be available on a first come/first served basis until the depletion of budgeted funds. Coaches will be limited to one application per fiscal year.
Please contact Director of Training for information or application.
